Coffee Bistro 101 is a place where people can come and enjoy good food, good coffee, good desserts and live music in an atmosphere ALL people can enjoy.



Michael Cook, Founder, Owner and Operator



Michael is the son of the late Bob Cook, founder of the Holiday House restaurants. Michael grew up working in the family business and in 1983 opened his own restaurant, Cook’s Café. He is still running Cook’s Café, but decided to try a new venture and open up a coffee bistro. In August of 2007, Coffee Bistro 101 opened across the hall from Cook’s Café and features a totally different menu and atmosphere.



Michael’s goal is to offer an uptown bistro in downtown Deland. You will be a stranger only once, a part of the family forever.
